Add a second account to a shared phone

Set up your own account on a phone a colleague already uses, so each of you opens only your own records.

A practice phone often passes between a nurse and a doctor on the same shift. Each person sets up their own account on it, and each account opens with its owner's password.

Before you start

  • The phone is already set up for somebody, and RizCare is showing their password screen.
  • You need your own sign-in name and password, and a connection.

Steps

  1. On the password screen, tap Not you? Choose another account.
  2. On Who is using this phone?, tap Set up another account on this phone.
  3. Type your sign-in name in Sign-in name and your password in Password.
  4. Type a name in Your name on this phone. On a shared phone this is needed, and it must be different from the names already on the phone.
  5. Tap Sign in.
  6. Wait while the practice's records come onto the phone, then tap Open Today.

What to expect

From now on, Who is using this phone? lists every account on the phone. Each person taps their own name and types their own password. One person's password never opens another person's records.

If you leave out the name, or pick one another account already uses, RizCare says so under the field and waits for you to change it. Nothing is set up until it is accepted.

Still stuck? Email support@riz.care and say which screen you are on.
