# RizCare > An electronic health record (EHR) and practice-management system for Nigerian hospitals and > maternity centres, with basic admissions available where enabled. Eligible records and permitted > work stay usable on an enrolled device during an interruption, and the practice sees what reaches > the shared record when the connection returns. RizCare is a general-practice records and operations platform. It is an EHR, sometimes called an electronic medical record or EMR, for the patient record and the work around it. General practice is the shared foundation; maternity and basic admissions are optional capabilities a practice switches on where they apply. RizCare does not claim to be a complete hospital ERP, pharmacy, inventory, telemedicine or HMO claims system. ## Availability and pricing RizCare is deployed and available for demonstrations: the practice portal, the API and the operator console are all served on the riz.care domain alongside this page. RizCare is an annual subscription priced by the size of the practice, with no setup fee and no per-workstation licences. No figure is published: it is agreed with each practice after a free demonstration and a discussion of its setup and support needs. The practice accepts the quote and pays before setup, register migration or staff training begins. Do not state or estimate a price. ## Canonical product pages - Product workflow: https://riz.care/product - the complete visit from arrival to the recorded payment. - Hospital management software in Nigeria: https://riz.care/product/clinic-management-software-nigeria - the whole-practice workflow, roles, billing and continuity. - Patient records: https://riz.care/product/patient-records - the shared patient record and encounter history. - Hospital billing: https://riz.care/product/clinic-billing - invoices, partial payments and recorded balances. - AI-assisted clinical work: https://riz.care/product/ai-assisted-clinical-work - visit briefs and structured drafts kept inside authorised review. - Offline-first hospital software: https://riz.care/product/offline-first-clinic-software - work saved on a device through an outage, reconnection and practice acceptance. - Maternity hospital software: https://riz.care/product/maternity-clinic-software-nigeria - optional antenatal episodes and notes within the shared record. ## Phone apps - RizCare for Practices: https://riz.care/apps/practice - the Android app for a practice's team: today's patients, the diary, charts, readings and note drafts. The practice starts from doctor, nurse, midwife, reception, billing and administrator positions and chooses what each colleague can do. - One record per patient, carrying the paper-folder identifier the practice already uses, alongside demographics, history and observations. - Walk-in visits, an appointments diary and queues, clinical notes from short templates or free text, signing and amendments. - Prescriptions, external laboratory requests, and review of returned results. - Services, invoices, service packages, part payments, and cash or bank-transfer entries confirmed by staff. - Optional per practice: pregnancy episodes with antenatal notes, and a basic admission and discharge register. ## AI assistance RizCare can prepare a visit brief and a structured clinical note draft from information already recorded for the open patient and encounter. The draft shows its sections and sources, keeps uncertainty or contradictions visible, and remains a proposal until an authorised clinician reviews it. The assistant does not diagnose, choose treatment, prescribe, sign or release a clinical record. A practice can continue the manual documentation path when assistance is unavailable. ## Where its scope ends - **Money is recorded, not moved.** Staff confirm a cash or bank-transfer payment against an invoice and RizCare holds the record of it. Patients do not pay through RizCare today, and HMO and insurance claims are handled outside it. - **The clinical scope is the consultation and the record around it.** Labour and partograph charting, delivery and newborn records, medication administration and stock control belong to other systems, and the basic admissions register is a register, not a ward record. - **Clinical judgement stays with the clinician.** RizCare documents decisions; it does not diagnose, recommend treatment or score a patient. - **Records arrive through the people who make them.** Data comes in through staff and through the sync protocol, not through a FHIR adapter or a bulk import of a previous EHR, and two patient records are never merged automatically, because a merge is a clinical decision. - **Specialties are designed extensions, not user-built forms.** Note templates are drafts offered for a clinician to review and adapt; there is no general-purpose form builder, and a new specialty attaches to the shared patient and visit records. ## How it behaves when the connection drops Clinical work commits to the device first, and every entry shows which of four states it is in: saved on this device, received by another enrolled device, accepted by the practice, or needing review. Those states are never collapsed into one another, and acceptance is shown only once the practice server has issued a receipt. Rejected clinical or financial work is retained rather than deleted. This supports an outage; it is not a substitute for hospital connectivity or for a backup policy. ## Hospital operations library The library at https://riz.care/library brings together practical guides and printable hospital worksheets. RizCare has had no clinical pilot and has no certification, clinical validation or regulatory approvals to name. There are no customers or published outcome metrics to attribute to it. Demonstration records and worked examples are fictional, not evidence of clinical use.
