Records stay with the practice that made them
A patient record belongs to the practice that created it. The product does not merge patients automatically or use a different patient’s visit as a fallback.
Saved on a device and accepted are shown apart
Work saved on a device is shown separately from work accepted by the practice, so the team knows what is on this device and what has still to be sent.
The practice still has responsibilities
Choose colleagues carefully, protect the phones and computers you use and keep a plan for backups. How long records are kept, and who answers for them, is still the practice’s policy to set.
