Ask for payment before lab work or the pharmacy
Choose which services belong to the lab or the pharmacy, and show a charge as waiting for payment until it is paid.

Some practices take payment before a test is done or a drug is handed over, and some do not. By default RizCare holds nothing: the switches are off.
Steps
First, say where a service is done.
- Choose Settings, then the price list.
- Open the service, or add one.
- Under Done at, choose The lab or The pharmacy. Leave the consultation and anything else on Neither.
- Save it.
Then turn it on.
- Choose Settings, then Visits.
- Under Pay first, switch on Ask for payment before lab work, Ask for payment before the pharmacy, or both.
What to expect
On Stations, the Lab and the Pharmacy list each patient's charges for that station. A charge says Paid, Not paid, or Waiting for payment where you have asked for payment first. No amount is shown there.
A charge counts as paid when what the patient has paid covers it and everything charged before it. A consultation is never held, and neither is an emergency, whatever you switch on. Nothing stops the work: the station shows the state and the people there decide.
